Hello Mama,
I am so glad you are here. You should be proud of everything you have done, creating and bringing a new life to the world. You are Beautiful. You are Good. And the Truth is that you were made to live Life Abundantly! My name is Yazmin, and I am Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. After recovering from a C-section with my twins, I became passionate in educating and accompanying women in their road to recovery. I know half the battle is to feel like you have someone with you through it all. I want to You and your family to finally live Life Abundantly. My goal is to help you functionally heal and improve your postpartum symptoms from diastasis, prolapse, back pain, pelvic pain, postural problems, and more. I want you to know that you can recover, heal, and become strong again. This journey to recovery may be difficult- physically, emotionally, or mentally, and I want to be there for you with encouragement and hope. There is no race to get back. Building a good foundation may be a slow process, but it can create long-term success.
My Story

In college, I studied Exercise Science- Pre- Physical Therapy. Even though I ended up being a FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) missionary, I always had a passion for anatomy and helping others be strong and pain free. After waiting 3 years to conceive, my husband and I found out that I was pregnant. We were overjoyed and in disbelief. At 7 weeks, I started bleeding excessively. After an emergency ultrasound thinking we wouldn’t find a heartbeat, we found TWO heartbeats! We were having twins! They also found what’s called a subchorionic hemorrhage. There is when a gestational sac separates from the uterus. This is what was causing all my bleeding. Long story short, the pregnancy was filled with great anxiety, BUT the hemorrhage healed. Praise God! After being induced at 37 weeks because of preeclampsia, I delivered my babies, Bosco and Chiara, via C-Section. We had healthy babies who didn’t need the NICU. I am thankful for my amazing husband, my mother, and my friends who supported me, cried with me, walked with me, and cheered me on through a difficult postpartum phase.
Once I started healing through mentally and spiritually, I knew it was time to recover physically. I also knew that if I started healing physically, I could heal more mentally and spiritually. As a former college athlete, I knew that I needed to do rehab after a huge abdominal surgery, but I was lost to where to start. After searching thoroughly and rehabbing through many months of simple exercises, I knew I wanted to help other women in this way.
